I went to bed really early last night, sick to my stomach. Just woke up a few minutes ago to news of hundreds of massacred Syrians, including children being stabbed and women being raped. Ya rabb, what did I wake up to? It’s really just an empty platitude, but my heart and thoughts go out to Syria right now.
